What problems? 0-Care was designed to wipe out the middle class and put more people under the government boot of dependence.

A complete lack of anything resembling logic.

The ACA says that everyone must buy insurance. Those who don’t qualify for Medicare or Medicaid MUST buy private insurance. The original ACA said there would be subsidies for those who could not afford the private insurance, but the Supreme Court ruled that mandatory subsidies are unconstitutional.

I was once between jobs and looked at private, individual policies. Nothing was actually covered. So I didn’t buy one. The ACA means that choice would now cost me a stiff fine. It also says individual policies MUST cover some conditions. The net is not clear to me.

    Or anyone.

Except for a few Obamabots who are convinced it will suddenly make US healthcare the best in the world, and rwnjs who think it will destroy the US.

The rest of us have no idea.

i would like to see the additional costs to gov for vacations // i think a 2 weeks at camp david or crawford does not cost the gov as much as a week on costa del sol and all the $$$ are being spent in the USA

Tell me how do you feel about any crypto-fascist in or out of office? In both parties like the twin axis of evil GWB & Cheney ?

Afghanistan didn’t attack us, Al-Qaeda which mostly came from Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. How come those two are on our frends list and not enemy’s list?

I the old days that Putin admittedly longs for,the Soviet era,Stalin in charge. He would just have the opposition taken out and shot. The lessor ones sent to Siberia. The young pretty girls made into the party elite’s sex slaves. Now he just puts his opponents in jail.
The left is also longing to do the same. But that pesky constitution keeps getting in the way.

What part of “in” don’t you understand? As for Pakistan and Saudi Arabia don’t care for either and no one else either as near as I can tell. What we have to do is work with someone but you would whine if we didn’t.

Working with the obvious enemies is stupid. As for whining that is your department.

Aaron Alexis had a low level clearance. 5 million others have that same clearance. He didn’t have to walk through a metal detector even though we have such devices at air ports and schools! I hope a few heads will roll over this stupid an ultimately fatal oversight.

The past is littered with the rubble of effective government programs: Social Security, Medicare, Unemployment Insurance, Workers Compensation. It’s not the failure of government programs that gives the GOP the whim-whams; it’s the ever-present threat of success.
