I am not cowering behind a closed door as I am currently in Canada. Monday I went to a concert in downtown Toronto in celebration of Canada Day. Walked around at night don’t recall seeing any cops but there must have been a few around somewhere. Personal safety was never in question. Wonder what Toronto’s police budget is compared to most any similar sized city in the U.S.? Attitudes and expectations can greatly change the big city climate, and the need to incarcerate.
