    Couldn’t care less about sports, haven’t seen the movie, don’t drink coffee, and couldn’t pick Kanye West out of a lineup if he’d mugged me.
    Now, video games I’ll cop to.

    Could be because all of the so-called “scandals” have fizzled in the face of vast conservative over-hype and a complete lack of any supporting evidence.

    Mr Varvel could have chosen a more generic and non-partisan angle for this cartoon. It would have been just as true. Most people just don’t care about politics in general and the voter participation rate shows it. ’Tis a shame he chose cheap partisanship instead.

    @ARodney

    It looks like ARodney is the one in the ’toon … totally clueless and moves his mouth before thinking.

    The point of this ’toon is not to pick on a party, but on an electorate. The people of this country, on average, have an attention span of a gnat. We could have a headline of “Obama murders Queen of England,” and in 6 months all would be forgiven. People so quickly forget things, because they get crowded out by all the stupid drivel on TV and the internet.

    And when in history has this ever been different?

    Are these the same activist and involved elements of today’s youth that wiped their behinds on a police car, the same ones that were kicked out of a park by a Democrat Party Mayor in Oakland? Then refused to share donation and food with the homeless while demanding a cost of living allowance from the Big Brother?

    Plutocrats; Government ruled by the Wealthy. First when hasn’t that ever happen? Go way back to Rome, Cases raised his own Army to go after Spartacus. Remember the East India Trading company of the 17 & 18 hundreds.

    The difference now is that their are a lot of rich people, so much so they all can’t have the same views, vested interests or even needs. George Soros & the Koch Brothers are a good example. So no the rich do not scare me, what does is mad power grab by the Democratic Party of the last few years.

    More EPA regulations, Obama Care, IRS getting responsibilities to Obama Care, IRS being used to shut down the Tea Party, Justice Department being used to stop Freedom of the Press and an Administration that just seems disconnected.

    Fact can be fiction, if you don’t believe it or care about it. Some people (myself included) regerd both as being very much the same.

    Repubs got a problem all right: The Young, the Under and the Unemployed won’t cotton to the daily Glen Gold Rush Fox News agi-hype. We’re just sittin’ around waitin’ to vote again. Benghazi? Have any of these cheap back court RepubliCons even been to Africa? Optimism got Stephens killed, people, not lack of firepower.
