As wrong as the Benson cartoon portraying Ryan as a baby. Both cartoonists should start over.

On Oct 4th Varvel did a cartoon based on Obama’s passivity. Can’t seem to decide what he wants.
When one side talks about style, you know they lost the content debate.

I listened to a portion of the debate. I found myself yelling at the radio over all of Lyan’s factually-challenged statements. Still pushing his mathematically impossible budget/tax plan. Am I the only one who sees a contradiction to their story?
– Baby bush era tax cuts become permanent
– All tax rates are reduced by another 20% accross the board
– Capital gains tax rates drop to near zero
– Estate tax (which impacts less than 10% of all estates) will be eliminated
- “Tax loopholes” liek the mortgage deduction will be eliminated
– Defense spending will be increased form it’s current levels.
.
These are all absolute, they are enumerated promises of the robme/lyam ticket. But then when faced with the mathematical proof that they can’t do all of this without raising the deficit or raising taxes first they say, “Six other studies show it’s possible” but when pressed on who those other studies were either they admit they were partisan sources whose objective was to support robme’lyan’s claims or they revert to “We will not raise taxes on the middle class.” So which is false, they won’t raise taxes on the middle class or they won’t cut taxes as much as they promised, and whose taxes will they cut? Or do they plan to simply gut all other social programs in order to provide their firends massive tax breaks? Their entire budget/tax cut plan is nothing but lies. It’s simple logic, if A is true then B is false, if B is true then a must be false. But they are counting on the people to be too stupid to see through it just like wiht all th elies in the first presidential debate. A poll showed that people did not htink robme’s policies were possible but they liked him better becuase they liked his policies.
.
I fear that ignorance will hurt, it will hurt this country that the people will be too ignorant to see the lies and will vote for Mitt Romney, corporate raider and friend only to the wealthy elite, not to the people of this country. One could say we get what we deserve when we vote for either candidate, but the fact is nearly half this country will vote for the losing candidate. So which half will it be, the ones who will ultimately suffer, along with nearly everyone else under robme, or the half who will be dragged along by the victorious Obama voters, kicking and screaming into an improving economic climate? I can only pray that President Obama prevails and everyone in this country beneifts. If robme/Lyan prevail the people of this country are screwed.

So let’s get this straight… Romney was a decisive leader, and Biden was a bully? Hmm. Since the style was a tie, I’ll go with the guy with truth on his side. Biden.

@cdward
You forgot the toon depicting Biden tied up in the ropes but still being declared the winner while Ryan is standing confused in the ring. All three toons missed the mark and were probably drawn prior to the debates with prejudices already locked into place.

People died. Obama and Biden lied, and are still not accepting the truth. Biden wouldn’t know the truth if it bit him.

Never has there been a clearer illustration of why our gov’t + congress doesn’t work – + WHO is clearly responsible for the dysfunctionality.
Please Vote next month! You know what needs to happen…

“…as he fibs about what spies and generals told Obama administration.”
“…Biden, just like Gore in 2000, repeatedly exaggerated and mischracterised for effect……Bide was demonstrably untruthful in some big respects….blamed the US intelligence comunity for the debacle (in Benghazi) and stated that no one had requested additional security…..From tomorrow, expect a number of senior intelligence figures to come out and say that.”

As Rush sums up Biden’s performance in the VP debate, “Biden is the epitome of the (since Gore 2000) Democrat Party!”

IMO the Elderly Brat was at his worst….interrupting both Ryan and the pro-Democrat moderator from 80 to 100 times and non-stop mugging, smirking, acting like the class clown, while filibustering with lie after lie.

Liberals believe that when they’re guys lie, it’s for the greater good so it’s just fine. If Ryan had been as disrespectful as Biden was, then you can be sure the lefties would be howling in outrage at Ryan’s behavior.
Liberals are absolute, total HYPOCRITES! And what’s really sick is they’re smugly proud of it!
