Actually we told you how to fix the mess, but your foreign masters told you to destroy America.

Now if all Liberals would stop fantasizing, and start living in the real world.

“foreign masters” “destroy America” / “stop fantasizing” “real world”
zoid and icy need to reconsider their own reality. If Obama wins they can demonstrate it by fleeing the U.S.

Nicely put, ODon. What wackos. They can go to Costa Rica, like Rush promised to, to avoid government-run health care and reductions in defense spending :-)

“Actually we told you how to fix the mess, but your foreign masters told you to destroy America.”

No, you haven’t. The only thing you’ve done is regurgitate a bunch of anti-Obama propaganda you’ve heard from partisan pendants furthering their own agenda.

The only change required is congress, they write the laws, the prez only signes or vetoes them.

No one could. You need an army to defeat 12,000 paid corporate lobbyists and their stooges in the Republicant party.

Howie’s pig latin earns him a flag although I am sure he thinks a star is in order.

“Foreign Masters?” You mean like the Stalinist Libertarian Koch brothers and the other billionaires who look upon us as invisible slaves to do their work for them? Then I’d agree.

More like three months since the obstruction to seating of a duly elected Minnasotan and the illness of Kennedy and the instigation of a “super majority” to make it very hard to pass anything wasn’t enough time to do much.

According to a study by The Center for Responsive Politics, special interests paid Washington lobbyists $3.2 billion in 2008—more than any other year on record. This was a 13.7 percent increase from 2007 (which broke the record by 7.7 percent over 2006).

The Center calculates that interest groups spent $17.4 million on lobbying for every day Congress was in session in 2008, or $32,523 per legislator per day. Center director Sheila Krumholz says, “The federal government is handing out billions of dollars by the day, and that translates into job security for lobbyists who can help companies and industries get a piece of the payout.”

*Health Care Lobbyists Outnumber Members of Congress 6 to *

Throw a stone anywhere around Capitol Hill and not only are you likely to hit a lobbyist, but one working on health care. There are reportedly 3,300 lobbyists currently in Washington, DC, working the issue of medical reform—that’s a six-to-one ratio of lobbyist to lawmaker in Congress. They are by far the largest group of lobbyists in the nation’s capital, with three times as many of them as those representing military interests. Doctors and other health professionals, hospitals, patient advocates, drug manufacturers and insurance companies are just some of the more than 1,500 organizations who have hired health-care lobbyists, including those employed by the 10 biggest lobbying firms in DC. So far this lobby has spent $263.4 million in the first six months of 2009, compared with the $241.4 million allocated during the same period last year.

@TrustedMechanic: “Presindent (sic) Obama did NOT have effective control over congress”. We agree, he didn’t.
You can’t deny that he had a veto-proof majority in Congress during the first two years of his reign. He used it to pass Obozocare.
The fact that he couldn’t get all of his European-style socialist wet-dream legislation passed in those two years was because it was too far-left extreme even for the members of his own party.
