Now we can be like all those old movies;
Show me your papers!
I hope you have all your papers in order.
You know what we do to people who have no papers…

Many of us have traveled our country and never thought about the need to prove we are one of us. Now many of us can continue the same way while others will carry their US passports to prove they have always been one of us.
There will be some kickback from this reality.

As long as your skin is white, you’ll be fine. If your skin is dark, make sure you’ve got up-top-date papers in your wallet, and a spare set in your glove compartment. It’s the price of “freedom” in conservative states.

Now that Arizona can ask for papers, during a pull over,
How many Illegals will be moving out of the state?

What is with all of this “let me see you papers” stuff. Whenever I’ve been pulled over the officer has wished me a good day and then said “May I see your driver’s license, registration, and proof of insurance?” Are those not “papers”?

Question: What happens to an native-born American kid with brown skin who is not carrying any “immigration status” papers when stopped by the police?
Harleyquinn

That may have been true until Obama told AZ to drop dead and set up a snitch line.
trm said, 11 months ago
@Canuck: to repeat what TimeWeaver said: they don’t actually ask to see any papers. They just check your immigration status with the Fed.
The answer to your (loaded) question is: the same thing that happens to anybody, brown/black/green/blue/white, when stopped by police.

@trm
Except the cops aren’t likely to doubt, or even CHECK the immigration status of a white guy.

Jugears McMarx needs those illegals’ votes. If you’re unsure about what he thinks of border laws, he has both an aunt and uncle STILL living here illegally, both probably on the dole.

I live next to a major military base.
[]
Several members from my congregation live in on-base housing, and the local colleges have an on-base branch campus.
[]
I’ve got to fork over ID every time I go to class or go out on visitation.
[]
And I’m white as a ghost.
[]
So yes, “ID check” already exists in the US, and even those of us of the supposedly “correct” skin color get checked as well.

I thought Obama was the “liberal” one and it would be the Republicans who are in charge of AZ doing all the snitching? How quickly you forget that Pres. Obama has been busier than Bush before him in ejecting illegal immigrants. Out did him in fact.

Gov Cryptkeeper has done nothing except open her state up to more lawsuits.

Arizona keeps shooting itself in the foot. I bet they have lost half of their tourist trade.
