And Walker is saying, “I will not return to planet ‘real world’ unless my commandments are worshipped!”

Maybe Walker told the Democrats “it’s my way or the highway.” and they took him up on it.

This comic is backwards – it’s Walker who’s making the demands and refusing to discuss, let alone compromise. I think he may get his unconstitutional law passed eventually, but he’s done the Republican party a huge amount of damage.

. Between the 7.5 Million Cleanup estimate he gave and the 350 thousand second opinion that was given, His chat with “David Koch”, and his My Way or the Highway approach to government, Scott Walker has talked himself into a corner and he is dead meat.
Recall Petitions are in full swing here in Wisconsin, I wonder how soon both sides of the aisle unite against Scotty?

Gary has it backwards. Without a filibuster rule in the Wisconsin Senate, the Democratic Senators did the only thing possible to stop the bill.
As said above, there is a lot to be said for staying out, while Walker continues to damage the republican party.
Unfortunately, they will will probably give in, lacking the heartless stubborness of Republicans.

I love how all the Dems– who would vote Republican when hell freezes over– say this has damaged the Republican Party. It’s as if they were this close (I’m holding my fingers really, really close together) to voting Republican, but then this had to happen….
