    What anti-smoking legislation did he sign? None. He signed legislation to control tobacco marketing. DIfferent thing. And is he a hypocrite? No, he’s been honest about his own smoking habit, to the point of saying that he wants to make it more likely that kids will make good choices because the stuff is addictive.

    Apparently, to avoid hypocrisy, any Republican physicians who have ever been sick will now surrender their licenses, and any Republican bankers who have ever bounced a check will now take jobs as waiters.

    Do all these ‘toonists have to do the same thing? You’d think there’d be enough news to find something a bit more original. (BTW, this is not just directed at the “smoking” ‘toons…it happens all the time with some of them.) And now it looks as if the Sanford thing is gonna dominate. BORING.
