    So that is what magic green jobs put together with Unions look like. I think I see a broken shovel in there and a 3$ cat toy laser.
    Sorry buddy you voted for it, go chant Hope and change a 100 times more, that might help.

    Actually, it worked great. Would have worked much better if Obama, always looking to appease republicans, hadn’t allowed it to be spayed with 1/3 of it in useless tax cuts.
    Astronomal corporate profits and CEO pay, record Dow, 7% unemployment, more American oil production than ever, it’s a tea potty wet dream. Not so hot for the middle class, but since you all like to pee on them, you should be ecstatic.

    Denis: I have a brother-in-law who’s always been a flake. He tried to kill himself and lost a leg as a result. He complained SSI wouldn’t give him a better prosthetic. I told him to get off his butt, and get a job. He never has. Yes, he’s your “prototype”.

    However, I have many friends who are amputees, paraplegics, blind, and with other disabilities, who’ve gotten education as necessary, and have never been without a job, even if they had to take “crap ones” to get by. This despite the fact it’s much harder for folks with disabilities to get hired, even with the ADA.

    Which, a blind friend who’s always been employed has now, as of tomorrow, lost her job, because the company, a government sub-contractor to a contractor, has “reorganized” a bunch of people out of their jobs. This is one of many functions that “government” can actually do cheaper with their own employees, but contracting has led to lower wages for workers, or no job, and increased profits for those at the top of the corporate food chain.

    Are there “lazy bums” getting money from the government for doing nothing? Yes, there are, and many of them are on corporate boards, lending their names or connections to be paid huge amounts of money, for an hour or two of their time every year.

    If everybody would pull together it would have been over by now. But partisan politics, greed, stupidity and the “Me, Me, Me!” society has not allowed that to happen.

    ^Clemens also spent considerable time “out west”, and wrote more good stuff, as well as Hawaii.

    It worked when it was shipped to you. You should have read the manual before you tried to “fix” it.

    Obama brags that perhaps a million have signed up for O Care! And he ignores the 5 million who have lost their Med Insurance.

    And many seniors can not navigate the computer trail to sign up for Obama’s Foley.

    @Gore Bane

    “Of course, the low-information liberals completely miss the significance of this. That’s because it takes less effort to feel than it does to think.”
    Not for sociopaths.

    The 5 million is a lie. It’s more like 500,000, and that’s about how many “lose” it each year because of how the “Free Market” works anyway — insurance companies always raise rates and discontinue policies, but in previous years, they haven’t had Obama to blame.

    Oh, and those who can’t navigate the web were supposed to be getting in-person help, but GOP regulators moved to shut down that system in the name of helping their fatcat pals in the insurance industry maintain their stranglehold.
