that about summs it up…. A childish temper tantrum by one faction of one party created this whole mess. Though I don’t see them growing up by January

Government OF little spoiled brats, BY little spoiled brats, FOR little spoiled brats. Vote Teabagheadism, the current substitute for the once upon a time Grand Old Party, Republican.

The right wing hasn’t learned a thing.
The budget mess could be settled tomorrow if they actually cared about the country.

Right, because the Democrats were being just as unreasonable as the teabagger led GOP. Let’s see, they wanted to defund the ACA which was voted on and became law, Obama was re-elected vowing to implement it and the SCOTUS deemed it constitutional. Yep, just as unreasonable to expect that LAW to be funded…

    Wiki says

The House has some exclusive powers: the power to initiate revenue bills,to impeach officials (impeached officials are subsequently tried in the Senate), and to elect the U.S. President in case there is no majority in the Electoral College.

where was the part where it say " they have to fund all of it or any of it" ?

Hey Impeach… that a good one.. maybe the POTUS should read the Constitution…

Sadly I believe you may be on target. Financial analysts in some sectors have speculated that if current trends continue the U.S. total gdp will become unable to keep up with interest demands on our total debt by 2020. If voters in 2014 don’t reign in Obama and his “fundamental Changes” , by the time January 2017 gets here all may be lost! I am hopeful that the recent debacle in D.C. will show the voters who was fighting for them and who is bent on their enslavement. Time now becomes important as we watch Obamacare roll out , if it brings as much trouble with it as expected then there should be enough time for the voters to get a clearer view and vote appropriately.

For the 1000th time: we need a mascot for the TEA-party! This wasn’t the GOPs fault, it was the TP, and they should be blamed. A split will come and by then we should have an animal. Maybe the snake from that flag? Would be fitting, keeping in mind the bible :-)
