It's Garfield-as you've never seen him!
Come savor the existential adventures of Jon Arbuckle in Garfield Minus Garfield. Based on the phenomenon ignited by Dan Walsh's hilarious and wildly popular webcomic (beloved by The New York Times and The
Washington Post, and hailed as "inspired" by Garfield creator Jim Davis), Garfield Minus Garfield takes everyone's favorite fat cat out of the picture, leaving us with only the lonely ennui of Jon as he's left to voice thoughts about his own existence into an empty void.

Several have been noting the color differences this week. The strip has often been identical in the original and in the GMG. But for the last several days, more and more distinctive color differences have been occurring. Interestingly enough, I am actually liking the colorizing done on the GMG strip more than the original. Jon’s hair is usually a darker, deeper shade, and often the background colorization is more bold.

Interesting thought…. especially in reference to the person yesterday who noted the difference between phone colors (red and green)…. this makes me wonder if perhaps the GMG author may have a form of color blindness? There are many forms, but the most common form is what is called “red/green colorblindness” where the person has significant difficulty telling reds from greens. It may be a potential explanation for some of the color differences we have been noting of late.

I see that after the title at the top it says Paws, Inc. Mr. Davis as with many cartoonists may not even do his own coloring. I think that the color differences may be intentional to show more of a contrast between the with & without Garfield.

They shouldve made the first and last box, the hallway Jon is running through. No need for blank spaces
