    I wonder, was the “click” the sound of the phone hanging up, or his heart breaking? I know it’s coming from the phone but if you follow the arrow, it goes towards his heart. Or his stomach.

    They need to rename this strip, to “Garfield Modified As We See Fit”. They certainly do more than just take Garfield out.

    I agree why are they messing with the orignal art ? I think the 3rd panel in the original is a lot funnier than the blank expression Jon gives in the modified version.
