It's Garfield-as you've never seen him!
Come savor the existential adventures of Jon Arbuckle in Garfield Minus Garfield. Based on the phenomenon ignited by Dan Walsh's hilarious and wildly popular webcomic (beloved by The New York Times and The
Washington Post, and hailed as "inspired" by Garfield creator Jim Davis), Garfield Minus Garfield takes everyone's favorite fat cat out of the picture, leaving us with only the lonely ennui of Jon as he's left to voice thoughts about his own existence into an empty void.

Another note to self: stop listening to Jon’s idiocy before I become just like him!

A bit funnier with Kitty than without!

For me, I tend to think it is much funnier WITHOUT Garfield. I even think the two darker beige panels that are empty work well in this instance. I am supposing that Jon was investigating his toes with his fingers in the first panel, came up “for air” to give us his soliloquy, and then went back down to commingle his toes and fingers again. This harkens in a existential construct that actually has me feeling Jon may be borderline Asperger’s Syndrome mixed with a touch of mania.

Ever notice that Jon, and many other comic/cartoon characters, have only four fingers instead of five? Just sayin’.

If toes and fingers are best friends, why do they live so far away from each other?
