It's Garfield-as you've never seen him!
Come savor the existential adventures of Jon Arbuckle in Garfield Minus Garfield. Based on the phenomenon ignited by Dan Walsh's hilarious and wildly popular webcomic (beloved by The New York Times and The
Washington Post, and hailed as "inspired" by Garfield creator Jim Davis), Garfield Minus Garfield takes everyone's favorite fat cat out of the picture, leaving us with only the lonely ennui of Jon as he's left to voice thoughts about his own existence into an empty void.

A bit of advice to Paws, Inc.
Since John is so often alone in the strip, redraw his eyes so that he seems to be looking at you (that is, us).
Then his comments will seem directed at the reader rather than the absent Garfield.

@Gary McSpook
Actually, most of these serve to demonstrate that just deleting Garfield from the strip makes no difference at all to content, which means Garfield is pretty much a fifth wheel a lot of the time. Changing the artwork would detract from that objective.

Although today he seems to be relevant.
