It's Garfield-as you've never seen him!
Come savor the existential adventures of Jon Arbuckle in Garfield Minus Garfield. Based on the phenomenon ignited by Dan Walsh's hilarious and wildly popular webcomic (beloved by The New York Times and The
Washington Post, and hailed as "inspired" by Garfield creator Jim Davis), Garfield Minus Garfield takes everyone's favorite fat cat out of the picture, leaving us with only the lonely ennui of Jon as he's left to voice thoughts about his own existence into an empty void.

That snowball attacked Jon! Obviously, that was the case. The way he’s looking at it in panel two shows it’s up to no good.

This is the second run through GMG, I think this may be the best one.

The snowball is more powerful than Jon’s mind.

When Garfield appears, the sky changes color.

See! I told Father Thompson a person’s hand can have a mind of its own…

Seriously, why change the coloring? That’s the second thing I don’t understand about GMG. The first is when they usually change the text. Like Jon is just tapping on the table and says, “Aaaaah! I can’t stand that noise!” (the original was “Aaaaah! I can’t stand the boredom!”).

I agree. It was a great GMG, except that they should have kept the original coloring.

Much better without Garfield, in my far from humble opinion.

yeah. Garfield is a lot funnier without Garfield’s predictable comments or breaking the fourth wall. i’m new to GMG but i absolutely love it! Simply removing the fat cat takes the strip in a very dark and existential direction.
