It's Garfield-as you've never seen him!
Come savor the existential adventures of Jon Arbuckle in Garfield Minus Garfield. Based on the phenomenon ignited by Dan Walsh's hilarious and wildly popular webcomic (beloved by The New York Times and The
Washington Post, and hailed as "inspired" by Garfield creator Jim Davis), Garfield Minus Garfield takes everyone's favorite fat cat out of the picture, leaving us with only the lonely ennui of Jon as he's left to voice thoughts about his own existence into an empty void.

And there wasn’t even an aperitif.

Is that white stuff supposed to be mashed potatoes?

Boring either way. If the white stuff is mashed potatoes, then what’s the sliced brown thing–a baked potato? That’s Jon’s problem–he needs protein–not all those starches!

The sliced brown thing is a haggis.

I would think Mr. Davis drew (as for most of Jon’s meals) a meat loaf.
With or without the cat, I agree with Jon saying that all there is is life.
Oh, and personally I think the little green things aren’t peas. They’re lima beans (I know, to some of you, yuck).

There’s a whole lot more to life! There’s Harry Potter, Star Wars, Star Trek, Tolkien, PS 238, etc.

The more I read this strip, the more I realize how truly superfluous Garfield usually is.

It looks like Jon’s about to eat Nemo.

Hey! I think that looks on the plate Garfield eats are lobster and mashed potato.

The white stuff might be mashed potatoes, yes. The brown stuff is probably some kind of meat. And those little green things are peas.

I’d go without dessert. That looks GOOD!
I don’t know what you guys are talking about. I love lima beans. But, personally, I think they’re peas. I like those more.
