    I think this works both ways. And you’d be surprised at the number of people who put hats (or other things) on cats. ICanHasCheezburger has plenty of examples – including my favorite to date, captioned thus:

    Don your cat with gay apparel,
    Fa la la, la la la, la la la,
    Put yourself in mortal peril,
    Fa la la la la, la la la la!
