It's Garfield-as you've never seen him!
Come savor the existential adventures of Jon Arbuckle in Garfield Minus Garfield. Based on the phenomenon ignited by Dan Walsh's hilarious and wildly popular webcomic (beloved by The New York Times and The
Washington Post, and hailed as "inspired" by Garfield creator Jim Davis), Garfield Minus Garfield takes everyone's favorite fat cat out of the picture, leaving us with only the lonely ennui of Jon as he's left to voice thoughts about his own existence into an empty void.

This actually makes more sense without
Garfield.

Again shouldn’t it be something like this: http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/9026/gmg090205ck3.gif?? But well I guess the one by Paws, Inc works even better than mine :P

Actions speak louder than words. Tune in next time for the sound of Jon’s heart going Crick

I just started looking at this strip, but this the second day in a row that they did more than just remove Garfield. Kettle I like yours better.

I like Kettle’s better too. It works either way but the way Garfield says, “And wait… and wait…” adds that extra little funny, implying the girl has forgotten this and won’t be feeling any guilt at all.

if they just got rid of garfield and kept what jon was saying in the last pannel it would have been much funnier

The Paws Inc GMG does tend to do more than just remove Garfield - which makes the result less humorous than it could be.

I agree they should just remove Garfield and his comments. This is Garfield minus Garfield, not Garfield minus Garfield and parts of Jons’ dialogue.

Why wasn’t the balloon on the third panel That’s Jon talking! Not the thought bubble

Jon, you deserved it after you told Ellen about hangin up on you for breaking your heart. Too bad, lad!
Wildmustang1262 said, 9 months ago
Kettle, thanks! the one on the link made sense than that strip.

Your one is nice Kettle. But I still prefer the original. I mean, who said Jon had a heart?
mrprongs said, 9 months ago
Why’d they change it from funny to not? Jon’s comment at the end doesn’t reference Garfield in the slightest.

Thanks a lot, but seriously - it’s just Paint ;)

Ahh, I get it, so this is like an alternative world without Garfield.
For those who don’t get it - he wouldn’t have said that if Garfield wasn’t present in the last strip.
