It's Garfield-as you've never seen him!
Come savor the existential adventures of Jon Arbuckle in Garfield Minus Garfield. Based on the phenomenon ignited by Dan Walsh's hilarious and wildly popular webcomic (beloved by The New York Times and The
Washington Post, and hailed as "inspired" by Garfield creator Jim Davis), Garfield Minus Garfield takes everyone's favorite fat cat out of the picture, leaving us with only the lonely ennui of Jon as he's left to voice thoughts about his own existence into an empty void.

This is not a bad one though I don’t think that it especially stands out without Garfield.

I think Jon looks better with a beard.

There is NOTHING different about this joke if you remove Garfield. I don’t know who’s doing this but they are completely missing the point. This is getting annoying.

I think Garfields words make it especially funny…but perhaps they want to show that there’s nothing different?

I think the point of all this is to show what a dork Jon is with or without Garfield.

Drystyha - I change avatars quite a bit. Most of them have been cats, I have two. The last one was dark and hard to see so I changed sooner than I usually would have.

The original Garfield Minus Garfield site (garfieldminusgarfield.net) doesn’t show the original strip, and I think it works a lot better. The comments on this one illustrate why perfectly.
