It's Garfield-as you've never seen him!
Come savor the existential adventures of Jon Arbuckle in Garfield Minus Garfield. Based on the phenomenon ignited by Dan Walsh's hilarious and wildly popular webcomic (beloved by The New York Times and The
Washington Post, and hailed as "inspired" by Garfield creator Jim Davis), Garfield Minus Garfield takes everyone's favorite fat cat out of the picture, leaving us with only the lonely ennui of Jon as he's left to voice thoughts about his own existence into an empty void.

This one doesn’t have the same slightly disturbing effect of the past few strips. Garfield doesn’t really add much to this particular punch line.

I think Garfield is the best part of it. He adds the salt to the injury’s.

I have a feeling that GMG isn’t gonna last long. It’s totally boring and stupid until you add Garfield to it. Garfield’s droll humor is what makes the strip so funny.

I dunno if GMG is supposed to be funny. I think it’s just supposed to make you realize how freakishly loserish Jon really is… I’ve seen another variant on this where they keep Garfield in but remove his thought bubbles, which is also quite weird and disturbing.

This “strip” ain’t goin’ anywhere. There are a lot of fans! It doesn’t always work for me, but overall, I love it.

I like this one, because it worked without Garfield.
Poor Jon though. :(
