I remember reading to an ex-roommate a list of cat jokes.
One was:Anyone who has ever owned a cat … knows that no-one owns a cat.
Her cat chose that very moment to make a meow sound … almost sounded like ‘mrup!’… as if he was saying, ‘You got that right, buddy!’

Cats consider “People” to be nothing more then warm furniture that can run the can opener!

Aye now isn’t THAT nice. Garf’s just given Jon an advancement from just being Jon,to being Jon the butler.

My 2 cats provide me with companionship. They greet me at the door when I come home. When I sit down after dinner in my recliner, one or both will climb up on (or next to) my lap and purr, lowering my BP considerably. In addition, both can do several ‘dog like’ tricks, which I’ve taught them, just to show visiting friends that cats can be trained. IMHO, a house is not a home without a cat ….

Makes me wonder what the thoughts of the author of “1000 Uses for a Dead Cat” were.
