   I’ve never come across a standard definition. One wonders if it’s like asters vs. daisies: everyone has their own definition of what they are. I just go with “composite” and call it good…

    Turtle: “Any species of marine tortoise” (OED). Unless Garfield is underwater, that’s a tortoise, not a turtle.

    @Bruno Zeigerts Garfield’s gotta catch the turtle first. As fast as that thing is going, Garfield would have to run, and we all know he doesn’t run.
