She’s a vet and should know better than to put ribbon on a cat. Cats eat the ribbon, which doesn’t come out properly, so surgery is required. If you’re really lucky, you can pull the ribbon out of the cat’s end — sort of like a cat-shaped ribbon dispenser, except the ribbon isn’t good for anything any longer!
