    Aye,ants are industrious,but they’re not Crazy.
    Could there be anything more sad than a thousand ants with double hernias and slipped discs ( as if they had any)?

    Yes. A thousand ants trying to prove that they really can life fifty times their own weight… by lifting Garfield. That’s sad all by itself.

    The army ants in The Hellstrom Chronicle would at least kill Garfield and dice him up into bite-sized chunks first. That still would take about fifty thousand ants.

    Around here the operative phrase would be “carried off by mosquitoes”. Some of them have the wingspan of a B-29.

    Sort of reminds me of that cult sci-fi movie THEM. Maybe the ants are off to irradiate themselves and then join forces with the locusts to become the MS-13 army of the insect world (and maybe ours too).
