    My grandfather died in 2007 awhile after his 96th birthday. My cousins and I though he’d live to be 100 if the stroke hadn’t happened. Grandma stayed in widowhood for a few months before her 91st birthday

    Pretty cute having coffee together. What’s wrong with having chickens for pets? Aunt Edna sounds like quite a gal!

    I had a great-aunt Edna who lived to be over 100. I also had a grandmother (Edna’s sister) who always swore she wouldn’t live to triple digits. She died at 99 years and 4 months.
