Garfield doesn’t waste any time. He must’ve brought the bun with him.

Hmm. There must be a redneck McDonald’s around there somewhere. That’s the only way you’re going to get pre-bagged squirrel burgers.
And I oughta know. I got a cook book with a great recipe for Possum, a great reipce for Rabbit, and even a recipe for gator. But there ain’t no squirrel in the whole danged book!

I like it when Jim draws settings other than the table. If he doesn’t, every panel looks exactly the same, but when he puts his mind to it, he makes the comic fun just to look at, regardless of the gag.

I don’t know about “squirrel burgers”, but I do know that squirrel stew is really good - tastes like rabbit, Librarian, as a matter of fact.

Garfield deals the Rodent Revolution a severe setback.

a squirrel burger?! That will taste terrible!
I remembered when my family and I went to Fort Braggs for vacation way back in 1970s, we stopped by at Jack In The Box fast food service and ordered what we wanted to eat before took off on the way to Fort Bragg, CA. But somehow my sister and her girl friend got sick and I ate the hamburger. I could tell the way it tasted something funny so I stopped eating the hamburger. Later on, the TV, I could not recall the name of the show, showed what kind of meats for hamburgers and had the person to taste each hamburger. The person said that one of the hamburger tasted funny. The host said that the hamburger came from kangaroo meat in Australia. I was shocked and yelled “UGGGHHHH! OH MY GOSH!” FDA shut Jack In the Box down till around 1990s, Jack In the Box reopened again but FAD warned them not to import kangaroo meat from Australia or Jack In the Box would be shut down for good. That was why I never like to eat anything at Jack In the Box anymore.

Fort Bragg, California is on the coast in Mendocino county, zip code 95437. It’s a very nice tourist destination. I’ve spent some enjoyable times there. :)

thank you, stonehenge! I didn’t know that. I only knew of Fort Bragg North Carolina. I deleted my comment to not upset that person. Again, thank you for setting me straight! =]
