Nothing ever changes in TV land, except the programming gets dumber.

So you have the literal version of the goshawful 1992 Stay Tuned, charlie?

The nice thing about books is, if used properly, they can break a picture tube.

We got rid of our TV around 1990 when they cancelled Star Trek reruns. Haven’t missed it. No cable TV either. No TV, in fact. It is really funny when pollsters call about our viewing habits and there is no place to mark “no TV” on their survey form.

Charlie you should cancel that cable and spend the money you save on dvd’s of shows you really like. You can build up a good collection of shows and actually enjoy what you watch.

I bet the ratings are going higher because of the TV men embarrassing themselves.

I do not need to watch the repeated shows or programs on the TV anyway.
