    Northwoodser: Last time I checked it was fairly normal to eat chickens, turkeys and the occasional duck. I can’t remember the last time I ate a mouse or a rat.

    So, I’m going to say birds have always tasted better.

    To double Northwoodser’s pain: it’s not at all unusual for cats to prefer birds (generally dumber) to mice (generally tricky).
