If he escaped without injury, he should be happy.

What did you leave Jon? A whole dime?
MeB_Thumper said, 9 months ago
HA! Maybe he left a written note tip…as in some advice, like a fashion tip!

Wildmustang1262 - That’s one gesture in ‘sign language’ we all understand.

In this economy, he probably gave him an I.O.U. note! LOL

How about that! A park named for Congressman Valet. Pork to stimulate the economy.

wildmustang1262, what does “XD” mean? I still haven’t gotten the hang of some of the abbreviations around here.
Alexiel said, 9 months ago
drystyha: XD is an emoticon. It’s a wide smile with the eyes closed.

Drystyha:
Not dumb at all! Even those of us who learned English as our first language have trouble keeping track of all the abbreviations and emoticons. Not to mention they keep on coming up with new ones!
Alexiel said, 9 months ago
Whenever you have trouble trying to figure out what a particular abbreviation or emoticon is supposed to mean, go to urbandictionary.com; you should be able to find the definition you need there.

Alexiel: I actually use acronymfinder.com, which usually helps.
urbandictionary, of course, covers a wider spectrum of material, and from what I’ve seen of it, can also be helpful in its domain if you’re willing to wade through a four letter word* here and there.
*What does “four letter word” refer to? look it up on urban dictionary. ;)
