Horsehead1 has a point. Arlene would last a heck of a lot longer,in the wild.

Now I’m going to have to try imagining what “traditional mouse folk rumbas” played on a tiny accordion would sound like.

Well, it’s great to see Arlene in a strip anyway. I noticed before she seemed to phase out of the strip, so it’s nice that she’s still making appearances every once in a while.

Garfield will eat birds, but he won’t eat mice.
I wonder if he’s changed his mind about Arlene? I seem to remember him telling her once:
“Lips that have touched mice will not touch mine.”

I caught my cat in the act that he held the live quail in his mouth at my parents’ home. I yelled at him to let it go. He dropped it off from his mouth and ran from me. I picked the quail and let it go outside. I scolded my cat not to bring any kinds of birds in my parents’ house. You know what my cat reacted. His ears put down; he frowned and meowed at me sarcastically. Obviously, he was mad at me. LOLs!

Suggestion: Play a Myron Floren LP at 78rpm…

Moral: Never annoy a creature who’s higher on the food chain.
