"Frog Applause reminds one of learning to read, in the sense that each word in the captions seems 'surprising' and new. Teresa's writing takes one back to that fresh state of mind (typical of, but of course not limited to, childhood) in which the brain, free of preconceptions, doesn't 'fill in' any blind spots along the way but rather wholly embraces the present moment as it unfolds. Every sentence is literally an imagination-expanding adventure." — Craig Conley, author of One-Letter Words: A Dictionary (HarperCollins)

Normally, radio reception in my neighborhood is poor, but this morning I stuck my head out the window and got Chile.

I don’t appreciate chili breath much. But my dog would love to share your chili breath. Specially if it’s chili con carne breath.

Re: blog………..
The pics of the dogs holding their leashes reminds me of a dog I saw walking itself this afternoon. The dog was walking down the sidewalk holding the end of his leash in his mouth. His ‘person’ was walking a few feet behind him.

Is anyone else having trouble with the blog? I have high speed internet and even when the comics are coming up lightning fast, the blog takes longer than I care to wait.

The Lame-O-Meter strongly reminds me of Original Star Trek.
And “Eyes” makes me think of this….

May I offer you a hotdog with that chili?

@Dogsniff
Yes, for a while now. I think it may have something to do with multiple site redirection to an overseas server (dot.NL).

When I lived in Germany, in one village there was one person who daily walked his dog that way. Germans are big believers in having well-trained dogs, which is why you see dogs in restaurants, always well behaved.

You never give me your pillow,
You only give me your chilli breath,
And in the middle of procrastination,
I smell death……

@Dogsniff I always have a little trouble with the blog, only because it’s so image intensive. Yesterday I did maintenance, cleared cache and defragged, so it took about three reloads to view the page.I noticed also that Vlad still hasn’t gone on his New Year’s rampage yet, either that or Teresa hasn’t tallied his body count yet.

Languorous chili-pillow is ready for a new friend, I’d say.
