    O.K. Saw is to Forest as Links are to Dog and Cup is to Boot?
    A saw cuts down timber if the forest;
    Another name for a link sausage is a hot dog;
    And you need to wear a cup in case somebody puts the boot to your privates.

    I don’t think you can buy stamps at the dollar store and use them as postage.

    Re Frog Blog: Perhaps they should be Maltese-face cupcakes – the dog doesn’t look like a poodle (maybe even Bichon Frise)

    I think it means that’s a real kick-ass cup of coffee.

    Yeah – also, cup and boot both are containers. But that suspect sausage caused me to have another visual association with dogs ..
    Which is all beside the point, of course. The important question is: why are those other frames blank?
    Is Teresa trying to derail our thought processes? Little does she know that in my case that won’t work, since mine went off the rails a long time ago ..

    Somehow, my first thought on seeing this was to check and see if Hugh Downs was still alive. He is.

    OK, here’s my try.

    There’s a story called ‘The Cup in the Forest’. (http://www.penguinreaders.com/pdf/downloads/par/teachers-notes/TN-TheCupintheForest.pdf) Forests, of course, contain trees. The links below boot us over to the saw dog, which is another name for chain saw carvers. Ergo, it’s a puzzle that leads us to Dogsniff. Tadaaaa!

    This is what happens when a disgruntled rogue Rosetta Stone employee sneaks in a page designed to mess with people’s minds who are trying to learn English
