Also notice that the circulatory system shows the blood being oxygenated like the water in an aquarium—and there’s no mechanism to remove carbon dioxide, much less to supply nutrients and remove other wastes. Plus the recirculated blood is not heated to body temperature, which is likely to induce hypothermia. I’d also wonder about coagulation, given that the blood is exposed to the air and is recirculated through rubber tubes for hours.
