"Frog Applause reminds one of learning to read, in the sense that each word in the captions seems 'surprising' and new. Teresa's writing takes one back to that fresh state of mind (typical of, but of course not limited to, childhood) in which the brain, free of preconceptions, doesn't 'fill in' any blind spots along the way but rather wholly embraces the present moment as it unfolds. Every sentence is literally an imagination-expanding adventure." — Craig Conley, author of One-Letter Words: A Dictionary (HarperCollins)

A thumbless hand, no less.
The punch line is hilarious, but all we can think about is that hand!! What can it mean?
From the angle, it’s as though she were trying to cover up a giggle of embarrassment, but that hand is at her hip holding the handbag (nice alliteration there, if I do say so myself).
But the wrist is too big. (Sounds like I’m critiquing a DIck Tracy panel here.) It must be a guy’s hand.
And what’s going on with the background?
I’m not going to be able to sleep tonight until I get answers.

By the way, I’ve posted a few pics to my blog, at least two of which are somewhat FrogBloggy in nature:
