"Frog Applause reminds one of learning to read, in the sense that each word in the captions seems 'surprising' and new. Teresa's writing takes one back to that fresh state of mind (typical of, but of course not limited to, childhood) in which the brain, free of preconceptions, doesn't 'fill in' any blind spots along the way but rather wholly embraces the present moment as it unfolds. Every sentence is literally an imagination-expanding adventure." — Craig Conley, author of One-Letter Words: A Dictionary (HarperCollins)

Awkward group hugs are scary.

Did you set up the Dreamcatcher properly? I have authentic ones in two rooms, including my bedroom, and they work just fine. I like your oversized sweater….
[Aside @judyparka: I’m not a Brit; my Profile locates me. Just picked up a few Brit usages along the way….]

I much prefer awkward grope hugs.

What is a dreamcatcher?
rricchhterr said, 3 months ago
it is a ring of wood with thread woven in criss-cross directions making unique designs, inter and intra woven

Install nightmare deflector adjacent to dreamcatcher.

A Dreamcatcher is an Indian (or First American, to be P.C.) sacral object; mine are from the Lakota people.

…I think she needs to uncircumcise herself from her sweater…

haikumiku, you must be awful young. In the early 90s, they were everywhere.

Margueritem, maybe your next avatar could be a dreamcatcher. Then we’d all know what one looks like.
(I wish goComics would double the size of the avatars. So many of them are so great.)

Gocomics: Bigger Avatars. I’m begging on bended knee. “Please hear my plea”.

Bigger Avatars is a great idea, this kitty needs more room to stretch out.

All right, Gweedo and Doc!! Now this movement needs a Pro or two to give us some clout.
Next time I get a spam selling me something to make my avatar bigger, I just might sign up.

That sweater is perfect for a Minnesota winter (This August has been sooo cold, I’d wear it now!)

I knew you would come through, Marguerite.
Thanks. It’s beautiful. A spiderweb for dreams.

If they don’t do a bigger avatar, we’ll need to insert the supersized version in our posts.
