"Frog Applause reminds one of learning to read, in the sense that each word in the captions seems 'surprising' and new. Teresa's writing takes one back to that fresh state of mind (typical of, but of course not limited to, childhood) in which the brain, free of preconceptions, doesn't 'fill in' any blind spots along the way but rather wholly embraces the present moment as it unfolds. Every sentence is literally an imagination-expanding adventure." — Craig Conley, author of One-Letter Words: A Dictionary (HarperCollins)

Such a sad story, sniff…

Gotta feel sorry for the guy (even if there is the lurking suspicion: What if it wasn’t the feral boar?)

How big can a feral boar get? Are they just regular pigs or part something else?

This cartoon hits uncomfortably close to home.

The boar was actually Zeus, and she was just another conquest, much like Europa and Lydia.

I once picked up a feral looking dude who turned out to be a bore. I am sure he hadn’t washed in atleast eleven days. This was on the back road down along the eastern shore in the Musquodoboit Valley between Meagher’s Grant and Shubenacadie. All he talked about was this girl. Girl this girl that. Blaaa blaaa. The odd thing was that he was wearing one of her shoes. In retrospect maybe I should have reported it to the Mounties. But I hate men in red.
