"Frog Applause reminds one of learning to read, in the sense that each word in the captions seems 'surprising' and new. Teresa's writing takes one back to that fresh state of mind (typical of, but of course not limited to, childhood) in which the brain, free of preconceptions, doesn't 'fill in' any blind spots along the way but rather wholly embraces the present moment as it unfolds. Every sentence is literally an imagination-expanding adventure." — Craig Conley, author of One-Letter Words: A Dictionary (HarperCollins)

You mean like Elliot Ness “Untouchable”? Who is John Cena? I googled him, but I can’t figure out the connection. Help.

@lefty: Classic. Brilliant comment!

judyparka, it’s a play on that wrestler’s catch-phrase: “you can’t see me!”

Looked for he cannot be heard
Listened for, he cannot be seen.

It is unthinkable to think you are unknowable. However, not knowing how thinkable you might be, could also be unthinkable. And since I don’t know how knowable that is…it is unthinkable to even try to think about knowing it!
I think……..

Gosh, I haven’t thought about Woodstock in years. I don’t think he (or she?) has shown up in the Peanuts reruns yet. Thanks for the memory, 3. (May I call you 3?)

3hourtour - you stole my thunder! Although my comment about Woodstock was going to be darker … something along the lines of alienation resulting from a frustrating life with an existential beagle …

“…and in never knowing, the UNKNOWABLE is UNSTOPPABLE!”
Unless the Schulz family reads Frog Applause.
