"Frog Applause reminds one of learning to read, in the sense that each word in the captions seems 'surprising' and new. Teresa's writing takes one back to that fresh state of mind (typical of, but of course not limited to, childhood) in which the brain, free of preconceptions, doesn't 'fill in' any blind spots along the way but rather wholly embraces the present moment as it unfolds. Every sentence is literally an imagination-expanding adventure." — Craig Conley, author of One-Letter Words: A Dictionary (HarperCollins)

Cat flatulence? Can’t say I’ve ever experienced it. Now dog flatulence, on the other hand…

charlie37133: I did post an answer to that question for you on Comics.com but probably too late to be read so here it is again. My family is involved with a cat-rescue society so they have a pretty good understanding of furries. Cats have their favorite “parts” when it comes to their prey, yours likes heads. In nature the premium part of any prey animal is the trunk, so most of the time a cat who likes heads will eat the front half and bring her owner a gift of hindquarters. But your cat thinks you’re worth getting the choice cuts. You must be doing something right!

Margueritem, my big orange cat tends to be farty. Also, he snores. And sheds like an orange thunderstorm. He’s not very socially acceptable at all, really. But cuddly.

One of my cats farts when startled, it’s like a defense mechanism. It works, he stinks, I try not to startle him anymore.

Love to eat those mousies,
mousies what I love to eat,
I bite their little heads off,
I nibble on their tiny feet.
