"Frog Applause reminds one of learning to read, in the sense that each word in the captions seems 'surprising' and new. Teresa's writing takes one back to that fresh state of mind (typical of, but of course not limited to, childhood) in which the brain, free of preconceptions, doesn't 'fill in' any blind spots along the way but rather wholly embraces the present moment as it unfolds. Every sentence is literally an imagination-expanding adventure." — Craig Conley, author of One-Letter Words: A Dictionary (HarperCollins)

Make love first - to build up an appetite - eat - make love again.
Repeat as needed.

Notice it doesn’t say which partner would rather have the tacos. My guess is the female side.

iamtxmilady: This could be a same-sex relationship. Why always assume it’s a man-woman relationship?

Dear, why is it that whenever I suggest making sweet, sweet love, you always think of tacos?

Thank you, weeksfive! I think they’ll make chicken tacos together (foreplay) with sweet pineapple salsa and then…well the rest is inappropriate for this comment.

I’d say eat to build strength, make love, then re-fuel. Chicken tacos would do nicely, but watch the salsa. That stuff can linger something fierce.

What if the voices in the apartment are chickens? The one could be proposing a bit a romantic fowl play, the other a come-on for some barnyard hide-the-sausage.

Actually, I prefer chicken burritos.
