"Frog Applause reminds one of learning to read, in the sense that each word in the captions seems 'surprising' and new. Teresa's writing takes one back to that fresh state of mind (typical of, but of course not limited to, childhood) in which the brain, free of preconceptions, doesn't 'fill in' any blind spots along the way but rather wholly embraces the present moment as it unfolds. Every sentence is literally an imagination-expanding adventure." — Craig Conley, author of One-Letter Words: A Dictionary (HarperCollins)

It’s not that often you see cursive Cyrillic. Somebody turn Teresa into the FBI, please?
Oh, wait, I can do it - hey, Teresa, you’re the FBI! See how easy it is?

конечно! farren, you see it all the time in Russia :-) Especially when you go there to learn the language and you end up having to learn to write again. I remember visiting a shop to buy the kind of books that have letter patterns that 4 and 5 year olds can trace to learn the shapes. The staff had a good old giggle at my expense :-)

I’ll have to remember this one if I’m ever in Russia and desperately in need of a hug.

Dear friends, I missed it the first time, but if you will look at the tiny black lettering at the bottom of each panel you will see….
Panel 1- Russian: Hug me!
Panel 2- Hug me now!
Panel 3- Hug me now or I will scrream!
Click - View Larger, that should help.
Rather funny I say.
