"Frog Applause reminds one of learning to read, in the sense that each word in the captions seems 'surprising' and new. Teresa's writing takes one back to that fresh state of mind (typical of, but of course not limited to, childhood) in which the brain, free of preconceptions, doesn't 'fill in' any blind spots along the way but rather wholly embraces the present moment as it unfolds. Every sentence is literally an imagination-expanding adventure." — Craig Conley, author of One-Letter Words: A Dictionary (HarperCollins)

Somebody’s been rummaging in my manatee drawer again. My dugong drawer is all over the floor too.

But you still have plenty of man-tease!
I’m with DoctorToon…can’t make myself move on to the next comic.
Great job on the legs, Teresa.
I’m leaving now.
In just a minute.

This day would be a great strip to animate.
Now for a bit of esoterica rewrite–
“…and the Prince was eaten by his manatees…”

“Once you have them on, it will be “hard” to take them off.”

Manatees always remind me of the men who are behind you in the checkout queue, men buying baked beans, too many light bulbs and the kind of bread that never goes stale even if it’s kept in a witch’s armpit.

Those legs…where have I seen them before? Oh yes, it’s Paris Hilton. If there had been a breeze I would have recognized her immediately.

I haven’t looked at the Manties site for years. I see they’re still in the biz of supplying the stuff of dreams, for a certain type of dreamer.

You don’t suppose that’s a cross-dresser, do ya? It makes sense, given that balloon. Oh, no…

A very certain type of dreamer.
Hi Terry. I’m one of the drones ;-) who’s been assigned to help with the TOP SECRET COMICS CLASSIFICATION PROJECT and I couldn’t help noticing that the link in my email doesn’t seem to be functioning or more to the point, if I try to do a test send I get an incorrect formatting notice, even when I exchanged the [at] symbol for the dot that was in the post.
