"Frog Applause reminds one of learning to read, in the sense that each word in the captions seems 'surprising' and new. Teresa's writing takes one back to that fresh state of mind (typical of, but of course not limited to, childhood) in which the brain, free of preconceptions, doesn't 'fill in' any blind spots along the way but rather wholly embraces the present moment as it unfolds. Every sentence is literally an imagination-expanding adventure." — Craig Conley, author of One-Letter Words: A Dictionary (HarperCollins)

Get off my lawn! Get off my ice floe! Get off my fault line! Get off my 11 KFC secret ingredients! Poor kids. They just want to have a little fun.

How did the soccer kids from Cleats Texas end up on an ice floe?
lrope said, about 1 year ago
Cleats has a lot characters. It’s hard to remember all their names. The boy with orange hair is Jack. The girl with dark hair and glasses is Edith. I never forget HER name because she once called herself E-DEATH! Who are the other kids?

Did nugget say that Cleats takes place in a Texas city called Cleats? I don’t know much, but I don’t think that’s right.

painedsmile, tell that to Mick Jagger. He tells you to get off his cloud.

Great theme for today’s strip, Nozzi. Get Off of My Cloud - Live 1967.
