And could someone tell my why it’s called football when the only time the foot contacts the ball is when it’s kicked? The rest of the time it’s in somebody’s hands. I hate football.

I have met some of these Bronco fans—they don’t understand how I can not care about football, especially how I can be ignorant of who the Broncos are playing next.

    Handball was already taken.
    Tight pants sounds sexy…sexist.
    Human piles sounds vaguely naughty.
Soccer is all but unknown here as a professional sport.

I stay away from such shows. Boring to me.

Mr. Stein is a Denverite. And even though I am a born and raised Bronco fan there a few fanatics that take to that level.

Now soccer is the one being called football in other countries or rather futbol. At least, it makes better sense since hands aren’t allowed except for the goalie. Soccer doesn’t really mean anything to me since it doesn’t really describe itself like baseball or basketball.

They should call it “running ball” or “tackle ball” here in the states.

Our “Football” is called “Football American” in the rest of the world to differentiate it from “Futbol” or “Football”.
