Liz and Sam have it all: a happy marriage, a precocious preteen son named Nate, and a house that's just the right size for the three of them. Then, Liz's parents move in. Grandpa Irv is a kindly but occasionally grumpy Korean War vet who loves watching TV, bickering over politics, and spoiling his grandson. His wife Sarah is equally strong-willed, whether urging Irv to diet, questioning her daughter's parenting choices, or finding surprising success as an advice blogger.
With an estimated 50+ million Americans living in such families as of today, Freshly Squeezed is a refreshing look at newfound family togetherness after the economic collapse. Can three generations of one family share their lives, their feelings, their dwindling fortunes and a bathroom — and keep their sense of humor in the process? Pay a visit to the Freshly Squeezed family to find out! Freshly Squeezed is the brainchild of Ed Stein, an award-winning political cartoonist. He created the local comic strip, Denver Square, for the Denver Rocky Mountain News for 12 years. He lived the Freshly Squeezed life first-hand when his kids were little and his 80-year-old father moved to Denver.

This is simply not true. The storms seem to be more dangerous because we have more people living in concentrated areas, and we have built in the wrong places. There are reasons that the native Americans never built villages along the coast. Do some research—of the top hurricanes ever to hit the US, 15 of the top 20 were before 1950, and most earlier than that.

Facts didn’t stop the results of the last presidential election so I doubt they will affect the myth of man made global warming.

O lordy. Where’d you get that tidbit? The bible?

Ignorant response. Do as Phoebe says…do some research.

Profound comments. Afraid Ed Stein has an ax to grind. This and previous arcs have shown his proclivity for whining political commentary.

Operative word — seems.

The 30s & 40s had more, and more intense hurricanes than any decade before or since.
Face it — NYC is virtually at sea level and nearly as much going on underground as above. Ya don’t need much of a storm to bring that to a standstill.

“Bible” should be capitalized. Are you deliberately trying to be disrespectful or are you just that ignorant?

Whwere I am in FL is 200 feet above sea level. It was under water at one time. Probably will be again.

Facts definitely won’t affect you and your deniers of reality. You just don’t want to have to change your energy wasting ways. And the fossil fuel titans agree with you. You curse all of us with your stupidity.
Notsoastute said, 4 months ago
@Night-Gaunt49
I suppose you don’t consume energy or any products generated by fossil fuels?
However, that being said, I do believe that man can and does have an impact on the ecology. Though it does not explain all the previous flutuations in the climate.

Well, it’s worked out okay for the GOP. “Science? We don’t need no stinking science!”
