Liz and Sam have it all: a happy marriage, a precocious preteen son named Nate, and a house that's just the right size for the three of them. Then, Liz's parents move in. Grandpa Irv is a kindly but occasionally grumpy Korean War vet who loves watching TV, bickering over politics, and spoiling his grandson. His wife Sarah is equally strong-willed, whether urging Irv to diet, questioning her daughter's parenting choices, or finding surprising success as an advice blogger.
With an estimated 50+ million Americans living in such families as of today, Freshly Squeezed is a refreshing look at newfound family togetherness after the economic collapse. Can three generations of one family share their lives, their feelings, their dwindling fortunes and a bathroom — and keep their sense of humor in the process? Pay a visit to the Freshly Squeezed family to find out! Freshly Squeezed is the brainchild of Ed Stein, an award-winning political cartoonist. He created the local comic strip, Denver Square, for the Denver Rocky Mountain News for 12 years. He lived the Freshly Squeezed life first-hand when his kids were little and his 80-year-old father moved to Denver.

If Nate’s afraid of stupidity keep him away from Cspan and out of D.C.

Maybe you should read some about solar activity and the effect it has on global warming. Or how the planet has warmed and cooled for eons. I am all for a clean environment—I am a recycler/composter, and went backpacking on my honeymoon—but t is such hubris to think we are destroying the planet. Look at the sun, people!!!!

There is a lot of things that can be fixed with intelligence; but, human stupidity ?? Scary!

I look at this and think of Al Gore.

And the weather.

Dear readers, all I can say is REALLY? You’d stop reading my brilliantly incisive commentary because you might disagree with me on occasion about something like climate change? I truly apologize if I’ve departed from the plantation here, but there actually IS some disagreement on the issue. If you only want to read things that you absolutely agree with, I guess this isn’t the place. Sorry for that. Not really.

Don’t worry about it, Ed. Not everybody is too willfully blind to see what’s right in front of them. Great job.

Indeed. The much-vaunted facade of “consensus” crumbles more each day.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2259012/Global-warming-Met-Office-releases-revised-global-temperature-predictions-showing-planet-NOT-rapidly-heating-up.html#ixzz2HPjqd0I7:
Global warming has STALLED since 1998: Met Office admits Earth’s temperature is rising slower than first thought
Of course, when your statistics start in the 1970s, when it was so cool the buzz was of a possible ice age impending – well of course, temperatures are going to show a rise from that time!
Go to NOAA’s own archives — there were more, and more violent, hurricanes in the ’30s and ’40s than in ANY decade before or since.
There is not a single tenet or prediction of Warmingology which stands up to close inspection.
The only thing to fear more than human stupidity is human gullibility.

I’d give you a “dislike” if we had one. Nothings keeping you here. And Global Warming climate change is very serious and mostly ignored. At all of our peril. Human stupidity on a large scale.

@PhoebeDog
We have and it isn’t part of the problem. Unless you mean the sun shining on earth that is. Sorry human action is behind it. No if, and or but about it.

@CDK
I look at this and think of all those fools who wish to ignore the obvious so that they can continue living as they always had without change. Well the world is changing and it is even faster than some of predictions indicated. Yes faster not slower.
