Liz and Sam have it all: a happy marriage, a precocious preteen son named Nate, and a house that's just the right size for the three of them. Then, Liz's parents move in. Grandpa Irv is a kindly but occasionally grumpy Korean War vet who loves watching TV, bickering over politics, and spoiling his grandson. His wife Sarah is equally strong-willed, whether urging Irv to diet, questioning her daughter's parenting choices, or finding surprising success as an advice blogger.
With an estimated 50+ million Americans living in such families as of today, Freshly Squeezed is a refreshing look at newfound family togetherness after the economic collapse. Can three generations of one family share their lives, their feelings, their dwindling fortunes and a bathroom — and keep their sense of humor in the process? Pay a visit to the Freshly Squeezed family to find out! Freshly Squeezed is the brainchild of Ed Stein, an award-winning political cartoonist. He created the local comic strip, Denver Square, for the Denver Rocky Mountain News for 12 years. He lived the Freshly Squeezed life first-hand when his kids were little and his 80-year-old father moved to Denver.

Oh, yeah. That’s what they’re looking for in the hard as nails legal field, a congenital wuss.

An election lawyer – can’t have too many of those.

That is what the Republicans live for. This time it failed. Too many people contested them.

It is frightening how frequently our electoral system already is blatantly manipulated by both parties (gerrymandering) and how easily it can manipulated in other ways – changing voter eligibility requirements, providing deceptive information about eligibility or polling places and/or dates, deliberately limiting the availability of voting machines in certain areas, etc., etc. Those who are in power have too much control and influence over how elections are held. Political boundaries should be based on consistent rules that blindly draw the lines based solely on factors such as population distribution, recognizable existing jurisdictional boundaries (municipal boundaries, zip codes, etc.), and a desire to keep the areas as “simple” as possible (by, say, seeking to minimize the ratio between the length of the perimeter and the area of the district). Consistent standards should be applied to all polling places throughout the country for any nationwide election, with Fed $ assistance if necessary in a time of cash-strapped localities. Citizens of a city that’s too poor to afford well-equipped and staffed polling places shouldn’t have a harder time voting than citizens in an affluent community.

How quickly you forget Algore and his I’m taking my football and going home rant. Or the 8 year long Demoncratic rant about that election. Oh, I’m sorry, the Demoncratic rant that still goes on today. So quit your finger pointing and clean your own house before you start making such broad and idiotic statements.

@Night-Gaunt. And we’ll all pay in the months to come. Including the people who voted for Obama!

@Neo Blakkrstal
You seem too forget the Republican thugs that threatened volunteers doing a recount in Florida in 2000.

Which “8 year Democratic rant” so you mean? Which rant is that? Pres. Obama doing what Bush did for 8 years, you are right. Calling what I said “idiotic” fails to point out any flaws so you are the idiotic one. Clean your own house? About time.

As if we wouldn’t pay more if that secretive rat Romney/Ryan had been elected instead.
