    Blame the publishers.
The guy who first used that term for the Higgs Boson explained that it should have been the ‘goddamn’ particle, but the publishers wouldn’t let him do it.

I’m pretty sure the fellow who heads up the human gene project would disagree with you, seeing as how he’s got this silly degree called a PhD and he’s a Christian as well.
Hmm. . . seems to be some disconnect here, or are you saying that Einstein, who called God “the Old Man” was just as silly?

Yes they should have called it the “myths & deities” particle.

Einstein wasn’t a believer in your sense and there are plenty of quotes on that.

Concern for man and his fate must always form the chief interest of all technical endeavors. Never forget this in the midst of your diagrams and equations.

“I find your lack of faith disturbing.” – Darth Vader

    HEBREWS CHAPTER 11

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

    ROMANS CHAPTER 1

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

    1 CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 1

18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
