When the Biblical Moses raised his staff and extended his hand over the Red Sea, the opposing team, Pharoah’s army, was behind him and the Israelites, not in front of Moses.
This Moses’ hand is not extended over the opposing team, it’s extended to the sideline.
But, calling this cartoon Moses a “kid” is what college and professional coaches often call each of their ADULT players. Or they call them “boys.”
Blue and Gold (with some white) are the colors of the Tulsa University’s Golden Hurricane uniforms. TU’s new hero type mascot is called “Captain ‘Cane.”
