    Actually, it is. Revere and the others would have said, “The regulars are coming.” At this period of history, Americans was what the natives were called. The colonists considered themselves to be British. Paul Revere wasn’t successful, anyway. He was arrested and his horse was confiscated. Others got the message through to Lexington and Concord.

    Paul’s letters are confusing; just ask Peter.

    Paul Revere’s lantern was clear: Brett Farve has returned to football; just ask ESPN.

    @DF:

    No. its 1: A> 2:Bee. C hasn’t even got a chance, unless someone throws in a curve.

    Actually, Longfellow said, among other details, that William Dawes rode also, but his name didn’t have as many rhymes, so he used Revere. Another rider was Samuel Prescott.

    Come listen children and you shall learn, about an old sot named Samuel Prescott. Nope, doesn’t work.

    Come listen children, and shut your jaws, while I tell you about William Dawes. Better, but kinda rude.

    Revere does indeed rhyme better.
