The “Bible” (as a collection of “books”) as we know it didn’t officially exist until one of the Church Councils officially canonized their version of one in 397 AD.
The word “bible” is from the Greek word “biblos” which usually referred to a scroll during Bible times. Many English versions have “biblos” translated as “book.”
David’s sport was slaying bears, lions, and a Philistine (aka Palestine) giant.
The prophet Daniel was the one cast into a lion’s den.
Side note …it is interesting that some people refer non-Jews in modern day Israel as Palestinians; but, the original Palestine was called Philistia in the Old Testament and it was a small country on the coast. Some Christians even call Israel “Palestine.” But, Israel’s original name was “Canaan.”
Palestinians/Philistines were not of Arab extraction.
